Brew Lab


Brew Lab opened in September 2012 after four years of planning, research and development.

After graduating university in 2008, Tom Hyde and Dave Law shared a passion for hospitality and an interest in the third wave of coffee taking place in cities like London, Portland and New York. Together, they dreamed up the idea of a quality-driven, concept-led speciality coffee bar for Edinburgh.

Brew Lab will once again be bringing their Cold Brew bar to the Edinburgh Food Festival – serving refreshing single-origin bottled Cold Brew and its creamy stout-like Nitro cousin, alongside plenty of doughnuts from Twelve Triangles.
