Your Visit

We’re back! The Edinburgh Food Festival is now George Square Gardens until Sunday 1 August.

As you can imagine, things are set to be a little bit different this summer so here’s a quick guide on what to expect when visiting this year.

What's happening

Expect a mouthwatering selection of street food and drinks provided by local vendors including Jarvis Pickle, Poco Prosecco, The Fat Flamingo, Free the Chilli and much more.

Our home – George Square Gardens

In the Gardens there is extensive outdoor seating around picnic benches which are available without reservation on a first-come, first-served basis. You can stay in the Garden as long as you want and you don’t need a ticket for a show to join us.

The Edinburgh Food Festival overlaps with the beginning of Assembly Festival on the 29 July. Shows will take place in our traditional Garden venue – the Palais du Variété spiegeltent – which will host a wide selection of shows with physically distanced indoor seating. Fresh to the Garden this summer is our spectacular new outdoor arena stage which will sit to the southern end of the Garden.
